So if you are admiring my beautiful website and quirky branding then Mel is your woman. I found the process of putting me (the real me the one you will actually get) onto a website incredibly difficult and hard. It felt exposing and overall I wanted it to be honest. Mel really helped me feel comfortable with the process and gave me buy in. She listened to mine (and almost everyone I know)’s feedback and took it into account and helped without ever making me feel silly or stupid because branding and marketing really isn’t my bag. Love it or hate it this is me on a website and I could not have done it without her.
For a massive chatterbox I have found networking particularly hard. Between imposter syndrome and anxiety about telling people about myself and my business it truly makes me sweat! Pink Biz Connect though have been a lovely networking group. A group of kind and supportive women who are all running their own businesses, usually around various other commitments. It’s been a really safe environment to talk and listen to people and feel less alone, and I’ve picked up some amazing new clients from attending their events. She helps her clients over the phone, face to face or a mixture of both and wants to help business owners put their people and profits first! Lisa can help you with almost anything you need relating to your small business. From business plans to marketing plans, clearing backlogs, helping to increase sales or general admin, Lisa can help with it all. She is honest, efficient and has so much experience. She wrote my business plan and very quickly identified what my immediate next steps needed to be and helped me achieve them. I cannot recommend her enough.
Denise is literally the only person who I have met who has a laugh as dirty as mine! She is a payroll superstar and is fast, efficient and professional. I outsource all my payroll needs to Denise and you can go through her directly or come through me to her if you prefer one point of contact. What she doesn’t know about running a payroll is probably not worth knowing!
So finding an accountant who you want to work with is a tough business and I truly believe that the process works better when you have a good rapport with someone and work well with them. So if you are looking for an accountant but I just don’t float your boat then James Watson is an amazing accountant who will do a fabulous job for you.
